wooo // Sunday, April 01, 2007 well, yesterday i had flag day.. i'm not too sure if the place tt we designated to is good anot but normally, in the morning, there isn't a lot of people.. i wont say the name of the place.. in case people get offended.. for those who know, please don't mention it here.. ok.. lets continue with the story.. it was a bad start actually.. i didn't give up like how previous years i did.. i think.. hah.. 5 minutes to 10am, we took a break and soon, we start asking people if they would like to donate.. normally, people will give you coins and if you are lucky, you will get notes!! so, when we start our 'mission' again, i started off very well.. filled with enthusiastic and energy.. past few years, i will just stand and walked very few steps but this year, i made a decision and challenge myself to follow and approached them and to be more more more polite. haha.. and i kept telling myself that, i have to make this tin heavy and at least half of it.. i get notes too.. maybe 4 or 5 $2 notes.. wow..and so... was walking here and there feeling happy but.. definitely i met a quite a number of weird and rude ppl. but that doesn't distract me.. like what someone said to me.. lol.. ok... when it was towards at the end, i felt so tired and don't have the strength to ask for donation cos the whole day i kept walking here and there chasing people.. and thks to sir adrian.. he gave us a piece of advise or should i say a trick on how to attract them to donate to us.. thks a lot.. flaggy day was fun -izah- my family went to my aunty's house for my grandma's death anniversary and therefore, i was alone at home with no food to eat anf friend to talk to.. i have so much to tell my mum about what happened and stuffs.. chatted with debbie and she told me to go to coffeeshop and takeaway or something.. i told her, i'm scared as it was dark and will never go down to buy sth across my hse.. unless someone accompanied me.. and she started giving me suggestions.. haha.. but i just ate biscuits and later i made a pie.. when my family came back, there was food!! yay!!and that was like for my dinner and lunch.. haha.. so i told about flaggy day and my teacher.. guess what i get in return? good news!! tt guy whom i saw at my grandma's wake, is my second cousin.. my mum talked to his mum ytd.. his mum was saying tt he had sports day and stuffs and my mum said i was having st john; flag day..and his mum was like ooh st john.. haha.. and of course we are in the same school.. blah blah.. they talked talked.. haha.. finally -izah- |
